Autumn House Farm & Fiberworks was established by Ken and Harriet Knox in 1979 and has been producing the finest hand dyed yarn and custom carded roving for over 45 years.
In 2019 we opened a shop in downtown Punxsutawney and we often joke that it has become our 3-D art project because every display is designed with color, composition, and beauty in mind.
From the moment you walk through the door you are met with eclectic settings blending gorgeous yarn, lucious rovings, vintage sweaters, art to wear, antiques, jewelry, pottery, and so much more. ChickenKnitz is led by Jaime, whose crafting journey began early in life. She learned to crochet from her mother as a child and later fell in love with knitting. Today, she shares her passion with others through classes, stitch groups, and daily shop life. Jaime believes fiber arts should be joyful, accessible, and community-centered.
Mike Loschinskey — Chief Yarn Dyer & Color Wizard
Every hand-dyed skein in the shop reflects Mike’s talent and imagination. A completely self-taught yarn dyer, Mike creates the vibrant, expressive colorways that have become a signature part of ChickenKnitz. His experimental, artistic approach ensures every batch is unique and full of character.

Luv2Knit & More (L2K) thrives on the mental health benefits and community aspects within fiber crafts. We strive to join these elements through outreach opportunities, creative gatherings and instructional offerings.
We have worked diligently to create a space suitable for all to connect under the umbrella of fiber art and share in the joy of a creative space. We dedicate time to these gatherings every Wednesday from 12-2pm, every 2nd and 4th Thursday from 6-9pm and we also have a charity crafternoon on the 1st Saturday of every month from 1-3pm.
We at L2K are driven to make fiber arts accessible to anyone of any background and ability. Ellen specializes in working with folks on the autism spectrum and has lots of experience working with people of varied cognitive/physical/emotional abilities and those struggling with addiction. Ellen has created a team of fiber educators who use similar approaches and help make fiber art approachable to absolutely anyone!
The L2K team: Ellen (Owner), Roe (Creative Director/Manager) and Robin (Assistant Manager), are committed to making your experience in the store as seamless and fruitful as possible. 🧶 THE SHOP on Grant
THE SHOP on Grant is located at 118 Grant Avenue in beautiful, historic Vandergrift-a 45 minute drive from Pittsburgh. It is a woman-owned specialty shop that includes yarns and notions, custom framing, lovely hand-made gifts by local artisans and greeting cards. It is also expanding on cross stitching supplies and kits. Knitting, crochet and cross stitch classes are also provided to those who are interested in learning a new craft. I am proud of the fact that most of the shops on Grant Avenue are women owned. THE SHOP on Grant was founded in April of 2023 and carries yarn brands such Cascade and Berroco, Mill Hill and Jim Shore cross stitch kits, DMC floss and, of course, a nice variety of frame and mat samples from which to choose for that special project. Perhaps you could time your visit to Vandergrift when there is a production playing at our CASINO Theater or during one of our festivals. We have a terrific Diner, G & G's and Ianni's Pizza! We have Myer's Keeping Rooms and Dolly's Guest House for lodging. Suffice it to say that you will not be disappointed with your visit to Vandergrift!
